#3: Monetary incentives for the KP2 students?

Salam.
For topic today, "Do you think we should give monetary incentives to the KP2 students to motivate them  to get better grades?". Maybe lots of people disagree to give monetary incentive for KP2. But me I think we should give monetary incentive to motivate them because if students get paid, dropout rates will be lower. It would make others do better in university by giving them a reward. When we gave money, the KP2 student have desired to study, more concentration in class. It also motivate student to study hard. Like old Malay adage " Dimana ada kemahuan, disitu ada jalan".

In my opinion,we should propose a reward system based on cash which will motivate them to earn good grades, which should be more than enough to allow them to graduate. The system will force students to try their best in order to get the reward. so, the KP2 student should use the money in good ways like buy new books for revision.I believe that it is for three reasons. The first reason is that money has always worked well as an incentive no matter the task. The second reason is that these incentives are currently working and seem to be helping KP2 students study more. The final reason is that KP2 students are able to immediately see the efforts of their hard work .

The use of monetary incentives to improve student performance is common in many countries. For example, in the United States, following the “Helping Outstanding Pupils Educationally”(HOPE) program implemented in Georgia, many others States have introduced analogous scholarship programs  in the United Kingdom the program Education Maintenance Allowance confers to students from low income families financial rewards based on their school performance in Colombia the program PACES (Programa de Ampliaciòn de Cobertura de Educaciòn Secundaria) assigned vouchers to secondary school students in relation to their performanc.

In conclusion,  the money was a very useful and immediate way for the KP2 student to see their hard work, use the money for educational purposes, and learn life lessons. I believe this idea of paying KP2 students to score well is a brilliant idea that actually works. I hope to see more university in the future using this creative system.
